How to request a VAT refund

For payments, via Paddle, you will have the option to enter a VAT ID at the point of purchase which will exempt the purchase from a sales tax charge. 

If you are registered for VAT and have missed the field to enter your VAT code, this can be adjusted post-purchase: send an email to help@paddle.com with your VAT code & address to update the invoice. Once Paddle validates the VAT number, they will process the refund right away and usually, it takes 3-5 working days (depends on the bank) before it reflects on your account.

For self-updates on your billing details (including VAT code) please access the invoice download link in your Paddle account and add your details in the billing form. Upon form completion, it will take a few days for Paddle to refund the VAT.
